“It is the power of hope.
The power of one person.
A Washington,
A Lincoln,
King,
Mandela,
and even a young girl from Pakistan,
Malala!
One person can change the world by giving people hope.”
~Retired U.S. Navy Admiral William H. McRaven~
A friend of mine posted the video below on Facebook yesterday. I was so touched by the Admiral’s words that I felt compelled to share it. I hope that you are as blessed by this man’s words as I was because…..
Life can be difficult.
There are challenges.
There are hurdles.
Life can be disheartening.
Close your eyes.
Hear his message.
Be inspired.
Hope.
Unable to get the sound……strange. but I always make my bed..& always tell Gina & Noelle to do that too….SoNoelle fixed up her bedroom new curtains ..switched furiture all around..& I said she would love her room even more if she made her bed every day…It worked!!!!She said she felt so much better walking into her room with the bed made . She also uses the room as an office too with computers set up too.She now feels so much more comfortable that she can concentrate .I’ll have to go back on to read your writings…I love your writing and hope I can get back on the computer…to read you!!!!!!!!
I’m sorry. That’s weird. It does make a big difference. Miss you!!! Need to talk real soon. Lots to fill you in on. 😘
