Nah! Nope! Not today!

Yikes!  I’m sitting here thinking I have a million and one things to do.  All I’ve been doing is farting around on the internet drinking cold coffee with a blank stare on my face.  I still have to:

–  pay bills

–  start research for yoga assignment

–  call doctors

–  work on taxes

–  start volunteer project

–  finish painting bedroom

There a complete to-do list!  Doesn’t that count for getting something done today?

Oh, wait!

I really should have added “think of next blog topic”.

Ugh, nothing comes to mind.  No ideas whatsoever.

It has been hours with this feeling of “nah”.

I’ve been procrastinating all day and now I’m adding something else to the “nah” list.

Come up with an idea to write about.  Nah!  Writer’s block.  Ugh!

Then I thought, writer’s block?  How is that possible?  You’ve dreamed of writing.  Seriously, you already have writer’s block after one week of blogging?  Unbelievable and unacceptable!

Ahahahahaha!

That was my inspiration.  I’m going to write about that “nah” feeling.

Weird, huh?

Arghhhhhh…..I should be checking off my to-do list.  Oh, well, I’m going to write.

And then, there comes……

The internal struggle.  Write, list, write, list, write, list……….

Just finish one task!  Nah, write your post.

Here are reasons I should be checking off my to-do list.-  It’s easier to call people during business hours – you know, when they’re there.

–   I’m not sick…I have not reason to sit on my butt for hours…..I          actually feel the best I have in weeks.

–   You can write anytime…..your blog is accessible 24 hours a day.

–   I’m not sleep deprived…..the puppy slept until 6:45….hallelujah!

–  My Dad is healthy today…..no ER visits…..from my mind to              God’s ears.

Here is the reason I’m writing instead.

–  I LOVE IT!

– It brings me joy!

– It brings me peace!

I don’t know how good I am at it.  But, if I can touch just one person each and everyday, that’s fine with me.  That’s all that matters.

Have any of you felt like that?  Just make one person happy even if your having a “nah” kind of day.  I can truthfully say that it doesn’t happen all the time.

Have you ever had a “nah” kind of day?

Don’t say “no”.  I’ll know it’s not true.

Don’t say it.  I really know you have.

Guess what?

We all have that “nah” kind of day.  It’s okay ……screw the list (not indefinitely)……and enjoy the “NAH”!

Have a blessed “nah” day!
